Bobby Lu Wins

canucks_edm_2Roberto Luongo became the Franchises all time leading Shutout leader last night when he blanked the Edmonton Oliers.

Luongo broke the tie he had held since last year with Kirk Mclean at 20 shutouts. Now at 21 he stands at 48 for his career.

Standouts from last nights game were Grabner and Shirokov. I really like Sergei’s moves out there and I think the move down the Moose helped him greatly. Grabner is finally getting a chance to shine due to injury and it looks like he’ll not be going anywhere anytime soon, especially now that Kyle Wellwood may be out for an undetermined amount of time.

Detroit is up on Tuesday, that should be a great game.
